More About Me

I am married and have four grown up children and four grandchildren. I live just outside Horsham in West Sussex. I have loved animals since I was small and my grandfather was instrumental in my love of horses. Growing up we had mice, hamsters, gerbils and a dog then after getting married we had an assortment of dogs, cats, sheep, goats, ducks, chickens and horses.

I have always been in some sort of caring profession starting my working life as a general and children's nurse, then moving on to the complementary therapies of massage, craniosacral therapy and energy healing. As I progressed in my understanding of how these complementary therapies worked my own spiritual awareness developed and allowed me, over the years, to rediscover parts of myself that I had shut away. My horses have been my greatest teachers in this area of self discovery along with nature and some beautiful souls that I have met and have been or are in my life at the moment.  Moving from working with people to healing animals seemed a natural progression.

I started teaching  initially when I began running workshops with my daughter in 2008. In 2011 it became a  major part of my life when I co-founded a BTEC Level 4 Professional Diploma in Animal Healing which was  run in partnership with Plumpton College, East Sussex. Through the courses I saw students struggling with their own problems that were coming up for them because they were working with energy which was healing them at the same time as they were healing animals.

I came to realise that energetically, as we are not separate from anything in our world, healing is a dynamic flow between all living beings. This brought me to where I am now, helping people and animals, especially horses, find healing with each other and within themselves.
